PLAYWRIGHT DIRECTOR PRODUCER

ALEXANDER "SANDY" MARSHALL

Alexander Marshall (Playwright-Director-Producer) is the American end of the new Anglo-American production team of Marshall + Cole Theatricals Ltd. In 2012, the pair put on five shows on different sides of the Pond. In London, they produced Giles Cole’s new play, The Art of Concealment to sold-out houses and four- and five-star reviews. Off-Broadway they produced, and Marshall directed, Max Maven Thinking In Person to unanimous raves. Also, in America, Marshall + Cole produced Short Guys With Glasses, Seeing With the Mind’s Eye, and Jadoo. In February 2013, they produced Bending Minds & Bending Dreams in Chicago. Sandy is a two-time Emmy® winner (7 nominations), who in May of 2011, won the Benjamin Franklin Award for his epic biography about his legendary father, Beating a Dead Horse: The Life and Times of Jay Marshall. Fifty years in show business has never dulled Marshall’s enthusiasm to find the truth that hides in the darkened corners of his craft. He is proud to finally bring the true story of John Lennon to London. Sandy lives in the Chelsea section of New York with his talented wife, singer/songwriter Susan Palmer Marshall and their ginger cat, Macallister.
